North East robotics innovator Wootzano has exhibited alongside some of the world’s most dynamic start-ups at a San Francisco event.
The County Durham firm was selected as one of the top 200 international start-ups to attend TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield 200. Wootzano’s highly dexterous robotic system, which aims to revolutionise food packing in the agricultural sector, impressed TechCrunch judges who were searching for the “game-changing startups most likely to have a positive impact on the world”.
Coming hot on the heels of the firm’s recent expansion into California, the event put Wootzano among the select range of businesses covering everything from fintech technology to healthcare diagnostics innovations.
