A flexible workspace provider is set to launch its first operation on Tyneside after signing up for the majority of remaining space at Newcastle’s Portland House.
Wizu, which provides serviced offices, co-working spaces, virtual offices and meeting room facilities, has secured a management agreement for almost 20,000 sqft of space within a standalone wing at Portland House, as part of moves to expand beyond its Yorkshire heartland. The building, the former head office for Newcastle Building Society, has undergone a major transformation over the last three years to become a wellness-focussed, sustainable workspace.
