UK military flight training company opens new Bristol HQ

UK military flight training company Ascent has opened its new headquarters in Bristol. The business, which employs around 410 people around the country, has taken space at Bristol Business Park in Stoke Gifford.
Ascent Flight Training has been based in Bristol since 2008 when it was appointed by the Ministry of Defence to design and deliver a flying training system for the armed forces.
Created as a joint venture between Lockheed Martin UK and Babcock International, Ascent is responsible for the training of future aircrew. The company’s new hub in Bristol will house 145 employees.
