
Tributes have been paid to prominent Cardiff-born businessman, Lord David Rowe-Beddoe, who has died aged 85. His death was announced in the House of Lords where he was a life peer and crossbench member.
Lord Rowe-Beddoe was the first chairman of the Wales Millennium Centre and a former chairman of the Welsh Development Agency and Cardiff Airport as well as deputy chairman of UK Statistics Authority.
