A Somerset bathroom manufacturing firm has been awarded a £700,000 contract to supply a new ‘net zero’ hotel at a Devon business park.
Highbridge-based Offsite Solutions will make 134 shower units or ‘pods’ for the under construction accommodation at Exeter Science Park, which is scheduled to open next year.
Hospitality giant IHG Hotels & Resorts and developer Zeal Hotels are behind the 142-room lodgings, which will receive most of its power from onsite solar panels, as well as other renewable energy sources.
