Digital skills provider Netcom Training has won a contract worth £3.8 million annually to help deliver new courses in the West Midlands over the next three years.
The tender from the West Midlands Combined Authority builds on the council’s ongoing partnership with the Birmingham-based IT training provider which has already been awarded £8.5 million in the last three years to train citizens across 18 local authorities.
Netcom Training runs courses such as digital accountancy, cyber security and marketing and this latest funding will enable it to train more learners and increase accessibility to a diverse range of roles in high-paying career paths.
