Developer Modo Bloc has secured planning permission for a £3m South Tyneside development which is set to create up to 40 jobs once complete.
The Newcastle-based business has been given the green light by South Tyneside Council planners, paving the way for the regeneration of a brownfield site off Claypath Lane and the A194, in South Shields.
Modo Bloc plans to build three 1,205sqft units as well as a Starbucks drive-thru, along with EV charging bays. One of the units has already been let and the other two can be let separately or amalgamated to create a space of 2,410sqft. The project is expected to cr …
