Leeds developer Almscliffe-Dhesi Group starts work on two major retail schemes

Yorkshire developer Almscliffe-Dhesi Group has started work on two North East retail schemes which are set to create more than 200 new jobs.
The Leeds-based business has this week seen construction start on a new retail complex on the outskirts of Peterlee, County Durham. ADG is transforming the disused Vauxhall dealership into a new convenience retail cluster, with tenants signed up including Sainsbury’s, Tanning Shop, Cooplands and Dominos, together with CVS Vets and EVC electric vehicle chargers. Only one 1,250 sq ft unit remains available to lease.
The development will hopefully create up to 100 new jobs once it is complete.
