Leeds Bradford Airport embarks on £100 terminal regeneration

Leeds Bradford Airport is to invest more than £100 million into terminal regeneration as it looks to dramatically improve passenger experience and help unlock regional economic growth.
Leeds City Council has approved plans, with work to start imminently – and eyes on a 2026 completion. The regeneration will see a 9,500 sq m, three-storey extension to the existing facility, alongside a significant refurbishment.
Passengers will benefit from the creation of additional aircraft stands, more seating, faster terminal security, new shops and eateries, and a larger baggage reclaim area and immigration hall, as well as improved access for passengers with restricted mobility. Studies have found the wo …
