North East housebuilder Bellway is set to make redundancies as part of structural changes within the business.
The company, which has its head office at AirView Park near Newcastle Airport, confirmed that consultations are under way with employees affected in the North East, Midlands, and London divisions. A small number of head office roles are also affected.
Bellway said divisions currently being consulted are the South Midlands and London Partnerships, while capacity of its Durham office would also be reduced. Sites within these division are proposed to be transferred to other operating divisions.
