World foods manufacturer and distributor Regal Food Products Group has bought Packaging R Us.
The undisclosed deal will help Queens Award winning Regal expand its wholesale and food service arm. It follows last year’s acquisition of Just Desserts by the £23.5m turnover group which counts Regal Foods and Yorkshire Baking Company among its stable of brands.
Regal said that since challenges presented by Covid and Brexit, it has recognised the importance of becoming a one-stop solution its customers, delivering services including finished goods, ingredients, and now packaging.
